Part 2 — What is a Double Membrane Gas Holder?
It’s a breathing gas cover that safely stores the biogas produced by anaerobic digestion.
Three components
· Outer membrane — wind/rain/UV shield; continuously holds positive pressure on the inner membrane, keeping hydrostatic balance
· Inner membrane — directly contacts biogas; expands & contracts with gas volume
· Bottom membrane — separates the foundation from inner & outer membranes; leak-proof, corrosion-resistant

This Sanya project — from delivery to commissioning — passed every test in one run.
Before delivery
· Membrane thickness, bolt specs, and anchoring system tailor-reinforced for Sanya’s specific salt-spray class, UV index, and wind load. Not a one-size-fits-all shipment.
During installation (senior site engineer on site)
· Anchoring system positioning accuracy: ±2 mm
· Positive/negative pressure water seal test: 100% leak-free
· Every bolt’s torque: logged individually, double-checked
· Control cabinet: dual-redundant signals (gas-holder pressure + inner membrane volume)
During commissioning (safety protection calibration)
· Prevents inner/outer membrane over-pressure
· Auto pressure-relief on abnormality
· Auto pressure-adjustment on gas-output fluctuation
